I have been playing around with the hMailServer lately. hMailServer is a very good FREE mail server with a simple to use interface and power SPAM settings.
However, the default SPAM e-mail settings seem to be a bit relaxed.
Here is a summary of some optimal SPAM settings you can use for your own setup. They are fairly strict, but eliminate about 99% of e-mail SPAM:
The reasoning behind these settings is that if any of the services (Spamhaus, SpamCop, SURBL) identify a message a SPAM, then it will be automatically deleted, otherwise if any 2 other checks fail the message will be deleted.
Well try these settings out, I am sure you can come up with your own preference, and help eliminate SPAM forever.
